Obtained her title of “Doctor of Law and Social Sciences”, specialization in Corporate Law, in July of 1994, at the University of the Republic of Uruguay, being sworn in before the Supreme Court of Justice of Uruguay in December of that same year. Studied Corporate and Administration Law, Public Administration Quality, International Law, Foreign Trade, MERCOSUR legislation among others. Also Advertising and Literature, having been an associate of the weekly publication “Sobretodo”. Started her career in Public administration in August of 1998, holding presently and since 1998 the position of Legal Counsel to the Secretary of the Interior of Uruguay. Maintains simultaneously activities in private practice, being admitted to practice in several provinces in Uruguay, where she practices as a partner or solo practicioner with several major Law Firms in the Montevideo area since 1992. |
